Alex Canizales Castro is an accomplished Enterprise Agile Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with a passion for driving organizational change and strategy. With over 25 years of senior leadership experience, including 14 years specializing in agile practices, Alex has worked across multiple industries within fast-moving tech and innovative environments. Throughout their career, Alex has collaborated with teams spanning various countries in America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, including the USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Sweden, Spain, UAE, India, and Australia.

As a trusted guide in enterprise transformations, Alex operates from a coaching stance, providing invaluable expertise in driving transformative journeys and roadmaps, scaling operations, and implementing effective operating models. They possess a proven track record of facilitating enterprise-wide transformations, building successful products, nurturing client relationships, leading teams, and driving revenue growth.

Alex holds numerous certifications that validate their proficiency in the field, including being a Certified Enterprise Business Agility Strategist (EBAS), Certified AgilityHealth Facilitator (AHF) by AgilityHealth, Certified Professional in Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF) by ICAgile, and a member of the Business Agility Institute. They are the first individual from Colombia and the only one from Mexico to become a Certified Team Coach (CTC) and hold certifications as a Certified Agile Leader (CAL II), Scrum Foundations Educator (SFE), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM and CSP-PO) by Scrum Alliance.

Alex’s commitment to continuous growth and development is evident through their membership in the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and their Co-Active Coach certification from the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). They have also completed the Agile Leadership Coaching Certification Program by ICF-CCE. Furthermore, Alex is a Certified SAFe 6 Practice Consultant (SPC), Release Train Engineer (RTE), and SAFe Remote Trainer certified by Scaled Agile Inc. They also hold the OKR Certified Professional (OKRCP) designation and are a Kanban Management Professional (KMP), having completed both the Kanban System Design (KSD) and Kanban System Improvement (KSI) courses offered by Kanban University. Alex possesses working knowledge and experience with various frameworks and methodologies such as Lean, Kanban, eXtreme Programming, Scrum, LeSS, and SAFe.
