Paris Thomas

Paris Thomas is the co-founder and CEO of Talent Hacks, a company that aims to revive corporate training and breathe life back into learning and development. He is also an executive advisor at Strategyzer, where he helps executives navigate 21st-century business challenges and deliver innovation and transformation outcomes. He has worked with global clients across various industries, such as Microsoft, Lenovo, Motorola, Medtronic, Roche, Bayer, Audi, US Department of Energy, and others

Paris is passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, and cleantech. He has co-founded a European cleantech startup accelerator, Chrysalis LEAP, and is a lead trainer for several EU Climate Initiative programs. He trains and mentors over 200 cleantech startups each year, leading to the world’s largest annual green business ideas competition, Climate-KIC ClimateLaunchpad. He is also a co-founder of ENERMAP, a cleantech startup that won the Open Innovation Slam in Berlin, Germany.

Paris has a MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from the University of British Columbia, and a BA in Communications from Simon Fraser University. He is a certified trainer in Business Model Generation and a Silicon Valley Startup Tour alumni. He has received several honors and awards, such as being the Jury Member of the Climate-KIC Venture Competition and the Minister’s Award of Excellence from the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, British Columbia, Canada.

Paris is fluent in English and Greek and loves to kickstart stuff and stir the pot. He is always looking for ways to stay relevant by searching for innovative approaches to learning and development. He places a heavy emphasis on organizational culture, talent management, and change, which are necessary precursors to innovation. He is also a business mentor and coach at Junior Achievement of Cyprus, a non-profit organization that provides young people with experiences that promote the skills, understanding and perspective that they will need to succeed in a global economy.
